Through a series of lectures, virtual discussions and short assignments, this class provides an introductory history into the technological innovations and artistic movements that have shaped the medium.

Students will leave the class with a deeper understanding of the rich history of the photographic arts, as well as historical context for their own practice. Whether you’re a photographer yourself, or just looking to expand your knowledge, this class is for you!
