We recognize that our greatest strength these last 20 years has always been our community and as we look to the future our most meaningful gesture of gratitude is the launch of our new membership program. This initiative invites our supporters and friends to take an active role in shaping the direction of our organization, ensuring that our next chapter is guided by the very people who have sustained and inspired us from the beginning.

Membership costs just $60 a year or $30 for those under 30 or those experiencing significant financial hardship.

In return, as a member, you will receive the following benefits:

• A copy of our annual publication ($50 value)

• Free submission to SPAO’s APEX Exhibition and awards ($25 value)

• 50% discount on studio rentals ($35 dollar value per hour)

• Advanced access to SPAO’s yearly garage sale

• Advanced registration to our part-time programming

• Vote in our annual general meeting

• And more….

For the launch of our membership program this year, all collected membership fees made in 2025 will contribute towards SPAO’s Coming of Age Campaign, and help us to make the finishing touches to the SPAO Photographic Arts Centre.
