SPARK PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

This program is designed for serious young artists (ages 16–20) who want a focused and intensive introduction to photographic practice.
The SPARK Photography Workshops are an intensive one-week program designed for young photographers eager to strengthen their technical skills and artistic vision. Students participate in shooting sessions, post-production workshops, and group critiques. They explore photographic genres—landscape, architecture, still life, and portraiture—while building a cohesive portfolio.
Program Structure:
Monday – Friday | 10:00AM – 3:00PM
25 hours of instruction
July Session: July 13 - 17, 2026
August Session: August 10 - 14, 2026
$450 per student (for 25 hours of instruction)
Maximum 8 people per workshop

Morning (10:00–1:00) – Shooting Sessions
Students photograph either on location or in the studio, focusing on a different genre each day. Instruction includes composition, lighting, and conceptual development.
Afternoon (1:30–3:00) – Post-Production Workshops
Students edit and refine their photographs, learning professional workflow, editing techniques, and image selection.

Day 1 – Landscape Photography
Outdoor shooting with a focus on light, atmosphere, depth, and framing.
Day 2 – Architecture Photography
Photographing urban environments while exploring perspective and structure
Day 3 – Still Life Photography
Studio lighting, composition, and object-based storytelling.
Day 4 – Portraiture
Studio and natural-light portrait techniques, directing subjects, and creating mood.
Day 5 – Editing and Critique
Students finalize a small portfolio and participate in a group showcase
