Paul Wong is a media-maestro making art for site-specific spaces and screens of all sizes. He is an award-winning artist and curator known for pioneering early visual and media art in Canada, founding several artist-run groups, and organizing events, festivals, conferences, and public interventions since the 1970s.
This jar is from the Mother’s Cupboard series that featured Suk-Fong’s collection of 93 jars of Chinese herbs, homemade medicines, and elixirs. This jar is an elixir that includes deer antlers and goji berries.

HOW ARE ARTWORKS SELECTED?
The artworks selected for the SPAO PHOTO WALK launch installation were selected from a nationwide open call and by an assessor jury made up of nationally recognized industry leaders.
