Dianne Twombly

About

Dianne Twombly is a Hamilton-based visual artist whose surreal digital assemblages explore themes of decay, renewal, and cycles of life and death in both natural and constructed environments. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at York University in Toronto.

Twombly is inspired by places on the verge of demolition or reconstruction—and the human energy within them. Sisters depicts the ghosts of two sisters in a surreal dreamscape that invites viewers to contemplate the many layers of the spaces we occupy and those we hold in our memories.
