Regional Roadtrip

Regional Roadtrip is a series of 8 half-day photo expeditions featuring a range of locations and providing the opportunity to photograph a variety of subjects, including landscape, nature, wildlife, people, events, and ceremonies.
Students can expect to improve and refine their ability to recognize interesting subject matters and execute a quality photograph on the fly. They will shoot on location using a variety of compositional skills such as framing, subject placement, negative space, and motion.
In addition, there will be dedicated time for mid-program image review, critique, and skill development built into the schedule. Participant photographers will be asked to share two assignment images from each shoot for instructor and group feedback.

This is a program for photographers at the intermediate or advanced level who have a high degree of comfort with manual shooting, post-production, and the use of a DSLR with interchangeable lenses. Participants will assume all responsibility for transportation to and from the shooting locations, in addition to the payment of entrance fees where required. Limited car-pooling is available for those without a car.
