MAKING DIGITAL NEGATIVES
FOR ALTERNATIVE PROCESSES
The digital negative allows you to enlarge your digital images for contact printing as opposed to using film negatives at the size and format in which they were shot. In this workshop students will learn the process for making their own digital negatives for alternative processes such as cyanotype and tri-colour gum dichromate, including colour separations, registration/alignment, and tailoring the negative for the specific needs of your substrate and process.
