HISTORICAL PROCESSES I:

THE PINHOLE CAMERA

Pinhole photography allows me to create my own unique camera object and suggest a relationship between it and the image it makes. A galaxy of pin holes creates a new universe. The cameras allow me to understand and play with aspects of light beyond what my eyes see—to render visible that which cannot be seen.” – Dianne Bos

Learn about Dianne’s history and process of pinhole photography, and create your own pinhole camera from a book, whether it’s one that has meaning to you, or one that is provided. Students will make unique paper negative images with their newly-created cameras.
