Do you have an interest in Digital Photography but are unsure of how to get started? Digital Photography I: Foundation is a beginner class designed to help you learn how to navigate your camera and improve the quality of your digital images.  

Topics include:

  • Camera operation

  • Lighting

  • Composition

  • Basic file management

You will explore technical and aesthetic issues pertaining to portraiture, landscape and still life photography through lectures, discussions, practical hands-on exercises and shooting assignments.

  • Digital SLR or Mirrorless Camera, laptop computer or access to a computer outside of class time.

  • None. This class is for anyone at the beginning stages of their practice looking to learn the fundamentals of digital image capture.
