In recent years digital photography has rapidly expanded the user experience in a number of ways. Cell phones and tablets are not only capable of high quality images but can have software to process the image built in. DSR's are very popular, having a great degree of technical control both electronically and mechanically. With the costs of film and processing increasing, the affordability and ease of digital imaging has more people taking photos.
This course will examine three aspects: photo technology, software and composition. With the ease of digital photography, quantity is often placed ahead of quality. The aim of the course is for students to better understand their photographic device and how best to use it in recording their daily life.
