THE INTEGRATED WORKFLOW

Re-imagine the way you work with your images in this 6 week course that integrates two powerful industry-standard softwares, Lightroom and Photoshop.  The Integrated Workflow is designed to be a flexible course that will take you through shooting to processing to printing.

Lightroom allows photographers to globally process single or multiple images simultaneously before importing them into Photoshop. Photoshop offers extensive tools and filters to make your photo manipulation dreams a reality.

Students will be given instructions on how to shoot HDR/Panoramas in camera; then RAW image processing procedures in Lightroom. Learning how to apply metadata information to new images, flagging, star ratings, etc. to make culling, finding and accessing photos easy in a growing photo library. Photoshop techniques will be taught on localized adjustments, masking, cloning, and colour grading, that will give you the knowledge to create your own unique images. Through the use of Lightroom your completed images will then be ready for printing. We will also discuss the digital asset management (DAM) of your image files based on your shooting, processing, and storing/archiving needs.

This course is perfect for students looking to build on existing knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop. Once this course is complete, you will have the knowledge required to create your own customized workflow.
