WEEK OF JAN. 8TH - WEEK OF APR. 23RD, 2013
15 SESSIONS - 30 HOURS
MICHAEL TARDIOLI | $513.00 + $79.00 MATERIALS FEE
Portfolio Course Description
In this course students will learn how to assemble a collection of images on one theme that are stylistically and thematically unified. Through understanding how to promote and disseminate images, construct promotional materials and analyze the interaction of framing to installation views, the artist's voice and unique perspective will evolve.
Students need to bring a fully produced body of work ready for print into the course. Michael Tardioli will train you through strategic exercises to create and design your portfolio and exhibition installation with a clear vision. Students will leave the class with a professionally executed edit of their works, a designed portfolio and installation pieces for exhibition.
The prerequisite for this course is Post Production I or its equivalent. This is a master level course and consolidates and expands upon fundamentals learned from, and necessary for, other SPAO courses and workshops. Students must have access to a laptop computer with Photoshop CS4 or later installed. The materials fee for this course covers Inkjet inks. The fee also covers computer lab booking costs for participating students. Enrolment is limited to ensure one-on-one attention.
