Play with your photographs using Adobe's powerful software that allows you to alter and edit images.

In this course you will be introduced to some of the many features and tools of Photoshop for manipulating and enhancing your digital photographic images.

Learn how to use Layers, Alpha Channels, Dodging and Burning, masking techniques and special effects filters. You will enhance your images with the use and application of selection tools to perform compositing techniques or by isolating parts of an image for special treatment.

Explore basic retouching, photo restoration tools, the shadow highlight command, creating panoramas, digital colouring and the digital raw capture format.

Bring your own images to work on and get ready to experiment.

REQUIREMENTS:  Laptop computer with Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS6/CC.  Course participants are expected be proficient with their computer and operating system. 

PREREQUISITE:  Lightroom 1 (not mandatory, but highly recommended as Lightroom and Photoshop work very well as a package)
