No, get really close.
Have you ever wanted to photograph the eye of a fly, dive deep into a flower’s bloom or explore the head of a pin? This workshop is all about how to photograph the rarely seen realm of tiny objects.
In this workshop we will discuss and use some of the equipment options the Marco photographer has to help them get that really close shot. We’ll see light at the micro level and know how it can be manipulated to get the image we envision. You’ll also be introduced to the most powerful software programs designed to assist in the capture and production of mind-blowing stacked images. Finally the class will address how the artist can use Macro photography creatively to express themselves through their work.
Students must have a their own camera (digital or film) and a laptop. Students should have a basic working knowledge of their camera’s controls and photo software they currently use. Tripods and monopods are welcome. Enrollment is limited.
