Get a one-on-one introduction to Adobe’s three most popular softwares for photographers and graphic designers. Students of Digital Post-Production I: Foundation will learn the basics of Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign from two different expert instructors. Through lecture, demonstration, and instructor-led experimentation, students will get a taste for the ways in which these important softwares can be used together or separately to enhance their photographs. This class will also assist students in discovering which software is best for their personal workflow. Students of Digital Post-Production I: Foundation will complete this six-week session ready to use these softwares on their own at home and enroll in SPAO’s more intensive software classes.

Lightroom is a must-have for any photographer to help stay organized and make simple adjustments to your images, whether individually or as a batch.

Photoshop offers extensive tools for enhancing, manipulating, and preparing images for print.

InDesign is a graphic design software that can be used to create books, posters, cards, PDF brochures, and more.

REQUIREMENTS: Laptop computer with Lightroom, Photoshop, and InDesign installed or access to a computer with these softwares outside of class time.
